The Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) calls on voters to vote for it because it has the best economic platform, vision and people to carry out its platform, and the HSLS provides an alternative both to the centre-right and the centre-left coalitions, HSLS leader Darinko Kosor said at a news conference in Zagreb on Wednesday.
Small and medium-sized businesses should cast their ballots for the HSLS because it knows how to protect their interests, Kosor said, adding that his party's economic platform offered solutions and that "the content rather than the packaging is important".
He said that other political parties, notably the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), underestimated the electorate through their campaign messages.
As for the political situation in Croatia, the HSLS leader said that the HDZ was losing ground, and the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) was disappearing from the political scene.
However, the left option should not win the votes which it does not deserve, Kosor said, calling on voters to vote for his party.
HSLS representative Velimir Srica said that Croatia and Zagreb needed substantial changes with people with vision and energy.
