The survival of the oil refinery in Sisak was never at stake, INA CEO Zoltan Aldott said during a visit to the town some 50 kilometres east of Zagreb, when asked by reporters about INA's plans regarding the Sisak refinery.

It is true that the modernisation of the Sisak refinery has been postponed, but its survival was never at stake. Quite the contrary, all our plans, defined by the development strategy adopted at the end of last year, are based on permanent annual processing of two million tonnes of oil in Sisak. Our priorities are development of production efficiency and investments in refinery plants for the sake of environmental protection, said Aldott.

Aldott presented in Sisak today a donation from INA in the amount of 500,000 kuna to the Croatian association for humanitarian demining "Croatia Without Mines".
