Croatian Journalists' Association leader (HND) Zdenko Duka on Friday called on the national parliament, the Sabor, to relieve Goran Radman of the duty of director-general of the public broadcaster HRT, claiming that Radman should be fired due to nepotism and all the cases in which he has been found in conflict of interest to date.

Duka believes that the dismissal of Radman is necessary in order to preserve the public broadcaster.

His suggestion ensued after the parliamentary Conflict of Interest Commission said that Radman breached conflict of interest rules by failing to specify all his property in his declaration of assets, including a hotel in Slovenia.

In the meantime, Radman ruled out his resignation.

Radman also accused reporters of having jeopardised his family when revealing his omission to declare all his property, which prompted the HND leader to describe such accusations as bizarre.
