A total of 294,877 jobless people were registered with the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ) at the end of June, which was by 3.7 percent (11,179 people) fewer than at the end of May, and by 2.6 percent more than at the end of June, the HZZ reported on Tuesday.
As many as 19,386 new entries were in the HZZ register of the jobless this June, which was by 2% up from June 2011.
Twenty two percent, that is 65,010 people from all those out of work, used unemployment benefits in June.
