Croatian Parliament Speaker Josip Leko will visit Denmark on Wednesday and Thursday to attend the ratification of Croatia's Treaty of Accession with the European Union in the Danish top national legislature Folketing, the Croatian Sabor reported on Tuesday.
Denmark will be, thus, 26th member in the 27-strong Union, to ratify the Croatia-EU treaty.
On Thursday, Leko is due to meet Danish Parliament Speaker Mogens Lykketoft, and after that the voting on the Croatia-EU treaty is scheduled to take place.
The Croatian official is expected also to hold talks with Danish European Affairs Minister Nicolai Wammen and other officials.
Apart from Denmark, Germany has not yet ratified the document.
