This year's Sarajevo Film Festival will take place on August 16-24, offering top quality films, director Mirsad Purivatra told reporters in Sarajevo on Tuesday.
He said many people from the film industry would attend the festival's 19th edition, including from Hollywood.
A total of 241 films will be shown as part of 11 programmes.
Nine films will compete for the best feature film category.
The festival will be opened by Bosnian director Danis Tanovic's "An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker". Tanovic will also preside over the festival's jury.
Purivatra said the European Commission had given its consent to co-finance the festival from European funds.
