The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Main Board on Thursday determined party slates for the December 4 parliamentary election, deciding unanimously that SDP president Zoran Milanovic would be the candidate for Prime Minister of the SDP-led centre-left opposition coalition and head slates in nine of ten constituencies, while the president of the coalition partner Croatian People's Party (HNS), Radimir Cacic, would head the coalition slate in Constituency No. 3.
After a session that lasted almost two hours, the SDP Main Board decided that Milanovic would candidate number one on the slate in Constituency No. 1. The coalition slate in Constituency No. 2 will have Zvonimir Mrsic of the SDP as candidate number one, and in Constituency No. 3 candidate number one will probably be Cacic. SDP members will be nomber one candidates in Constituency No. 4 (Biljana Borzan), Constituency No. 5 (Igor Dragovan), Constituency No. 6 (Marina Lovric), Constituency No. 7 (Milanka Opacic), Constituency No. 8 (Zlatko Komadina), Constituency No. 9 (Ranko Ostojic) and Constituency No. 10 (Arsen Bauk).
In Constituency No. 12, where parliamentary deputies are elected by ethnic minorities, the SDP's joint candidate for the Czech and Slovak minorities will be Vladimir Bilek.
