Commenting on the ratification of Croatia's Treaty of Accession with the European Union, a source close to the government said it was entirely possible for Slovenia to use the Ljubljanska Banka issue as an excuse to stall the ratification of the accession treaty which has so far been ratified by 11 EU members.
The source said Croatia planned to appoint its financial expert on Thursday who, together with Slovenian France Arhar, would try to propose a solution to the two governments about how to resolve the issue of former Ljubljanska Banka clients from Croatia.
