The State Election Commission (DIP) said at noon on Sunday that 11.44 percent of Croatian voters had voted in the EU entry referendum by 1100 hours.
The DIP received results from 6,258 out of 6,574 polling stations and they showed that 440,623 out of 3,877,072 voters had cast their ballots by 1100 hours, which was a turnout of 11.44 percent.
The turnout was the highest in the City of Zagreb, 14.84 percent, and Zagreb County, 14.17 percent, and the lowest in Zadar County, 8.4 percent, and Vukovar-Srijem County, 8.12 percent.
The turnout in the December 4 parliamentary election by 1100 hours was 16.4 percent.
DIP member Davor Orlovic told the media the referendum was proceeding peacefully and without problems.
The next report on the turnout in the EU entry vote will be released around 1700 hours.
