Croatia's best athlete Blanka Vlasic won the 2011 Diamond League in the high jump event scoring a total of 18 points from the Diamond League meetings in which she participated this year. At the last meeting in Brussels in this annual series of track and field meetings, the Croatian high jumper finished fifth, clearing 1.93 metres.
At the competition in the Belgian capital on Friday evening, Anna Chicherova of Russia won the women's high jump event with 2.05.
Russian Yelena Slesarenko landed on No.2 with 1.96 m and was followed by Ebba Jungmark of Sweden with 1.93 m.
