Two-time world champion Blanka Vlasic of Croatia took third place in her second meeting since returning from a 16-month ankle injury layoff. At the Golden Gala meet in Rome on Thursday Vlasic cleared 195 cm on her third attempt, improving on her winning in New York last month.
Russians Anna Chicherova and Svetlana Shkolina -- the Olympic gold and bronze medalists, respectively -- shared the high jump victory at 198 cm.
