The state-level Croatian National Minorities' Council and the GONG nongovernmental organisation on Friday called on member of ethnic minorities to go to the polls for the election of their councils and representatives at the local level, scheduled for 10 July.
Dragan Zelic of GONG advised voters to check their registration in voters' lists.
The elections will be held in polling stations in 19 counties and 164 cities, towns and municipalities in which ethnic minorities individually account for at least 1.5 percent of the local population.
