The Croatian Social and Liberal Party (HSLS) on Monday submitted its slates to the State Election Commission (DIP), with HSLS leader Darinko Kosor saying that he was confident that the HSLS would have its club of deputies in the next parliament.
A club of deputies in the Sabor consists of at least three MPs.
The party nominated lists for all 12 constituencies. In Constituency No. 12, which is intended for ethnic minorities, an HSLS representative, Bajro Bajric, will run for the seat reserved for the Roma community's representative. In Constituency No. 11, for Croatian citizens without permanent residence in Croatia, the HSLS slate will be led by Franjo Zeljko.
"We expect good results," said Kosor in reference to the HSLS's expectations of the 4 December parliamentary elections.
The HSLS leader said that the party would cooperate with the future parliamentary majority provided that it was willing to implement economic reforms.
