The Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) and the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) will run in the forthcoming election for the European Parliament with a joint slate, their leaders announced at a press conference in Zagreb on Friday.
HSS president Branko Hrg and his HSLS counterpart Darinko Kosor said they expected the election of at least one deputy to the European Parliament.
The slate is headed by Miroslav Rozic of the HSS, who is followed by six HSS representatives, four members of the HSLS and two independent candidates.
Hrg said that the slate represents people from all walks of life, young people and women and will effectively represent their interests.
