The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) will deliver its judgement in the case of Croatian generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac on November 16, the Hague-based tribunal announced on Friday.
Last year the Trial Chamber sentenced Gotovina and Markac to 24 years and 18 years in prison respectively for war crimes committed by Croatian forces against Serb civilians during and after a military offensive known as Operation Storm which crushed a Serb insurgency in central and southern Croatia in the summer of 1995
