Croatia's Ivica Kostelic won third place in the men's World Cup slalom in Adelboden, Switzerland on Sunday.
Frenchmen Julien Lizeroux stormed from 12th place after the first run tovictory, clocking a combined time of 1 minute 51.88 seconds, beating MarcelHirscher of Austria by 0.34 seconds.
Kostelic was a further 0.46 seconds behind the Frenchmen and the Austrian.
