Jadranka Boban Pejic, the general manager of the Croatian Biovega company, has recently won the EBRD award for Outstanding Excellence in entrepreneurship at the event called "Women in Business" organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The EBRD award for the female entrepreneur in the banking sector went to Russian Alexandra Volchenko for her achievements as VP of OJSC Promsvyazbank. The winner of the Outstanding Achievement in industry was Macedonian Valentina Taseva, Managing Director of Semos Education, in recognition of the rapid and resilient growth of her company since she joined.
