The sixth edition of the women's slalom race within the Audi FIS World Cup will be held on Mount Sljeme overlooking Zagreb on 3 January, organisers of the "Vip Snow Queen Trophy" event announced on Wednesday.
The men's night slalom race will be held on 6 January.
The budget for these two races is estimated at HRK 25.5 million, the"Vip Snow Queen Trophy" director, Vedran Pavlek, told a newsconference in Zagreb.
The City of Zagreb has allocated HRK 4.5 million for this purpose, and therest has been donated by sponsors.
Croatia's skiers Nika Fleiss, Ana Jelusic, Matea Ferk, Tea Palic and SofijaNovoselic will take part in the women's event, and Natko Zrncic-Dim and DaliborSamasal will appear in the men's slalom.
The best Croatian male skier Ivica Kostelic is recovering from a recent kneesurgery and it is still uncertain whether he will compete.
