The Croatian parliament on Thursday appointed the chairs of the Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and Political System, the Legislation Committee and the Judiciary Committee.
Josip Leko of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) was elected chairman of the Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and Political System, and Vladimir Seks of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) was chosen vice-chairman.
The Legislation Committee will be chaired by Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic (SDP) and her deputy will be Josip Salapic (HDZ). Josip Kregar, an independent MP elected on the slate of the ruling Kukuriku coalition, will chair the Judiciary Committee, with Ana Lovrin (HDZ) as his deputy.
Each committee has 13 members in all.
