Google, which creates special logos, called doodles to celebrate holidays, birthdays and events, on Thursday celebrates the birthday of Ivan Mestrovic.
Ivan Meštrovic, born on 15 August 1883, was a Croatian sculptor and architect. He is renowned as possibly the greatest sculptor of religious subject matter since the Renaissance, the first living person to have a one man show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
