The Croatia team striker scored the winner against Celtic to secure his side the Scottish League Cup
Jelavic’s strike in extra time gave Rangers the 2-1 lead on 98 minutes. The Croat beat the offside trap and came one-on-one with Celtic’s Foster. Jelavic’s strike hit the bottom of the post and crossed the line.
The former Austria Vienna man was subbed on 117 minutes for Diouf.
Rangers took the lead on 24 minutes through Steven Davis, while Celtics equalized through Ledley on 31 minutes.
This is the Rangers’ 27th Scottish League Cup title.
