The GONG nongovernmental election monitoring organisation reported on Sunday that by 1400 hours it received about 15 tips from citizens about various forms of breaches of the ban on electioneering, mostly from Zagreb and eastern part of the country, as well as from polling stations abroad.
GONG reiterated that the electioneering ban was in force until the closure of polling stations at 1900 hours on Sunday, calling on all political parties and candidates to refrain from all promotional activities.
To contribute to a better transparency of the election procedure, GONG reiterated that employers were obliged to enable their employees working on the election day to exercise their right to vote.
