Obtaining a loan from the Croatia Osiguranje insurance company is a relatively long process and it could not have been done ad hoc two days before the December 4 parliamentary election, CO said on Wednesday, adding that in giving a the Coning company, as in every such case, CO had acted professionally, respecting the law, its internal acts and business interests.
The CO issued a statement in response to some media reports on a loan granted to the Varazdin-based Coning, saying they contained arbitrary interpretations of a normal business move and its effects on CO.
The company added it rejected any speculation based on someone's partial or current political interests.
